I am just wondering why the gears will be melted if the gear cover was not drilled holes on it ? :confused: :confused:

It could just be me but I bit each one and the MCDs seem softer and before I fixed my gear melting problems it seemed like the MCDs melted way faster. It could just be me though I dunno. Anyone else?

Something I noticed- when I installed my ramtech gears I noticed the transmission became very difficult to spin- crunching when spinning. They would mash hard when I would try to spin then they would free up and than mash hard again- almost like something was out of round or a shaft was bent...

Just installed my steel gears from ramtech. and now my truck make a crunching noise and it doesn't freely roll. so I put tback on the plastic and everything is ok.. I bought them from Largescalerc and they are out of stock so no exchange from them.. Was there a bad batch of these gears?
