anticapating my next build

so im just putting in a little update. im thinking that some might be wondering how the painted suspension components hold up. well they are fine. a couple little nicks in the rear from running in dirty lots, but thats about it. i have 12-15 tanks on it. the plastic cleans up fine and has held up better then i expected. the last thing i wanted was a chipping, pealing mess. the hpi tarmacs are also in fair condition. the problem that i have with them is i cant rotate on the rim like the TT tires. even with extreme camber adjustments, the inside wears faster from drifting. but they got better with traction once i losened up the suspension. the only real problem i have is with one front shock cap coming off. no big deal right? well it rips my under chassis lights out and i constantly have to re-solder them, and it makes a huge oily mess. no biggy though. i have to say, im truly enjoying this rig. i run it almost every sunday night. it may sound boring running in circles, but i really enjoy it. so much that my hands tremble when im hitt'in the drift action. im afraid one day i will crash becouse of it. the zen 27.2? i love it. it really winds out. i still want more rpms though. but im happy with it the way it is. well here are some "used" pics. its pretty dusty.

Nice update,


Sorry to hear about the lights though; (12-15 tanks wow!) I too have my TT setup for on road with the HPI Tarmac's great tire good wear. I have the rears on all 4 corners but I think I will try the HPI fronts on the front end to compare handling


I just got home and guess what? a nice little box from DDM ; I ordered my steel gears and some other stuff Saturday morning @ 2:00am and my stuff is here already you cant beat that kind of service!


I haven't posted in a while (busy at work) but I will try to get some pics and a vid up this weekend if all goes well.


Krypt, the summer is almost gone and we still need to put in a run together!
