Funny you said the steering was jumpy. It happened to me too and I linked mine today. Works great now and no more independently wobbling wheels on take off or turning.

after the paddle tire thing and then 2wd, just did not notice, but the wheel torque from the drive line over powers servo and makes wheels turn in while under power load.

4wd drive just needs it. 2wd delusional episode

no wonder the steer linkages wear so fast, considerable load.

despite daily sailing , i managed to sequeeze in a few runs and of course threaded the needle 1 time too many times and finally fully jacked the chassis on a steel post.

oh well, i guess thats the definitive indication that perhaps its time to jump onto the new chassis. pics soon

when new stuff is at hand, man, the old stuff is truly doomed

unit as a whole delivered some serious runtime and fun

starting FPV quad project next week, so distraction are rolling in, once i break this unit down, the rebuild on new modded chassis will be ready for fall. plenty pics in the process and will ponder new motor as well.... if wind is weak this spring/summer may be done sooner.

on to chassis cracks and bent backs

looking for hot spot of movement

heres the top

the load knows bows, back end bucking pretty good

flexion leading to separation , crack propagation in rear (within circles)

flexion underneath rear box

for the unending cartwheel sessions this chassis has seen, i'd say its definitely impressive.
