1717 small update

Changed a few settings back to default, timing , punch control, braking force and reverse force. The motor makes considerably more power than with 0 timing and max punch control, duh! LOL


Even on this HOT day was noticeably cooler than when I ran the last time at night! Maybe the 1717 doesn't like super low timing or max punch control? Im truly baffled.

Hate to say this, but try contacting the support team at Castle. Maybe they can shed some light on your wierd situation??

I just put a 1717 in mine. Seems to run great! I need to get a hobby wing programmer so I can see what the ESC setting are. (bought used)

I got my programmer today and I lowered the timing to 1. Temps were up 10 degs. I put the timing back. Per CC website the temps are suppose to be lower with low timing.
