20 thou is the closest.

If you have a stock top end you can go to 12 thou but it puts your port and transfer timings off a bit.

how do you get a .12? split the paper gasket or something? is better to have the timing/porting line up or the extre compression? im working on a stock 23 and was thinking about getting the squish down some, but wasnt sure how.

Copper is available in 12 thou. 10 thou is boardering on being a bit too close.

Compression can be a good and bad thing. The additional heat is one negative thing to consider. A lot of exhaust timing will kill off bottom end and on a 23cc there isnt much to start with.

So, there is a balance between the 2 and it would depend on what you want and a bit of experimenting.
