Hi you guys running this jetpro pipe do you know if that spring clamp not the hose clamp the other spring is that necessary to keep the pipe in place or can you just use the hose clamps on the coupler?

it should be ok the way it is. but- what you could do-- in the photo, directly below where theopen end of the spring is hanging- on the right hand side of the header weld- wrap 2 loops of heavy copper wire around that area, hook the spring to that-- not too much stretch- do not want to twist anything- as for the copper wire- find some romex- this is the wire used for home wiring-- the earth- ground wire is bare copper-- soft enough to be twisted a couple times with out breaking--
There is but the spring is so stiff to stretch it feels odd enough that theres 2 huge clamps on the coupler now a huge spring??
