Heat Sink

Hi Ol' fart,

What are your thoughts of producing a heat sink. The 5692, weather it be the Hobby King or the Leapord are popular motors. They have a 56mm diameter case. There seems to be no air cooled heat sinks this big. One with a fan would be great since heat seems to be a problem.

Like the stock one but with a fan mount. Something like this......

Castle makes one that fits the 5692. Its 11 to 17 bucks. It has 2 fans. If you could have one made with larger fins it would be better than that one though. Fins should be huge and thin and extend as far away from the heat source as possible. You could just cut the stock one and put fans on it via body pins crushed on there. It looks ugly but it works.

+1 on heat sink and dual fans....

The castle blower is just that, a fan, not a heat sink...it's plastic

Castle one also has to be mounted sideways, I'll post a pic when I can...
