Clutch isn't engaging until 2k rpms or so on my MT V3, is this normal? Just got it yesterday, only ran it once and noticed this right away, everything else seems solid so far.

Most stock clutches engage at 6k rpm, some guys use a 8k clutch spring to help with the low end bog.Clutch isn't engaging until 2k rpms or so on my MT V3, is this normal? Just got it yesterday, only ran it once and noticed this right away, everything else seems solid so far.
Well I just ran the 3rd 15 min heat cycle in my MT breaking in process, on the 2nd heat cycle, it come back to me limping lol, I popped open the hood and found the front right shock had come undone from the top where the top cap screws onto the shock tower, so when that top screw cap come undone, it spilled out a lot of the shock oil that inside of it, so how do I go about filling that back up with proper fluid
Just keep leaning out your high-speed needle, by turning it incrementally ( by 1/8 turns to the right), until the clutch engages the bell at the appropriate RPMs that REALLY makes your vehicle move. I had this challenge before, didn't know what the he'll to do, and began fiddling with the needles, and BINGO! IT SOLVED THE ISSUE OF WHY MY 1/5 SCALE REDCAT WASN'T MOVING. Just be aggressive on the lean side of high-end needle; increase the revs, also, on the idle screw. Lean out the low-end needle too. Mess around, Bro. It's part of the hobby.
