The coil gap to flywheel should be set using a regular business card. The spark plug. Get a NGK CMR7H. Local parts store sell them. Advanced Auto near me has them. If they don't have the NGK don't let them talk you into any other brand. The NGK is your best choice. What should the gap between the ignition module and the flywheel magneto be??
Try this: #1: Close the High and Low speed needles right down, by turning them each, clockwise; then resetting them to factory setting: 1 and 1/2 out on the High Speed Needle, and 1 and 1/4 out on the Low Speed Needle. Then prime the bulb and try starting engine.Have an e x buggy 5th scale 30 cc motor got good spark got good gas carburetors been cleaned got good compression will not start pull it a hundred times no start not sure what the problem is any thoughts??
No. Any rc engine spark Plugs will work.Ok thanks I went and got a plug that matches does it need to come from redcat?
Ok thanks for the info, but found the problem, found I had no compression, and the ring was wore out, ordered new piston and ring, meantime had spare 30cc engine, now runs great, but will repair old engine as back up, thanks for the reply!!Try this: #1: Close the High and Low speed needles right down, by turning them each, clockwise; then resetting them to factory setting: 1 and 1/2 out on the High Speed Needle, and 1 and 1/4 out on the Low Speed Needle. If it doesn't start, go to step #2: Take out spark plug, pull the starter cord vigorously to clear any gas from the combustion chamber, dry the spark plug's sparking tip by pressing it on cloth, replacing it, and try starting it again.
