xb to xbe help

i'm converting my xb to brushless, does anyone know if they make a convertion kit or will the xbe spur gear fit the xb carriers?

i was thinking about making my own mount but wasn't sure if the xbe spur gear would work in the xb center carriers. do you know if it is an exact replacement?

I've never tried.

Are you planing to keep the mechanical brakes?

yes, thats why i wanted to do this set up. much easier on electronics useing mechanical brakes.
