Carb settings? Air leak? Can you try a different carb?

i don't think having the pipe upside down should matter, i'm just thinking about having the entire weight of the pipe hang on the engine and put extra stress on the exhaust port when doing jumps for example.

could be the tank venting issue. If it happens again, try loosening the tank cap. If revs go down, there's your problem.

seems like there's nothing supporting the pipe except the two bolts going into the engine?

Glad you got it sorted out. Did you reach out to Redcat to get it replaced under warranty? Although, while you have the clutch disassembled you might as well just go ahead and install an 8k clutch, it makes a ton of difference.

Is the engine revving normally and the clutch is not engaging or does the engine have problema revving? Did you check that the throttle servo is pulling the carb butterfly all the way? Can you post a video of the issue?

already tried a few plugs, that's not it. I actually didn't play with the screws at all since the first tuning it, just tried it now since this issue appeared.

Thanks, if it turns out to be the carb, I'll definitely get that. Or maybe finally pull the trigger on an OBR engine :P

Hey guys, I'm having some really strange behavior with my 32cc DuneRunner. Basically, it's gotten more & more difficult to start it and after it does start, after about a minute or two the idle revs start going up. It starts up very nicely at 3500-4000rpm and then it goes as high as 8000rpm...

Seems quite a nice speed considering the MT's gearing.

You can add a silencer if it's too loud :)

I raised mine up a bit using the adjustable shocks. As for the engine upgrade, a good exhaust will give you a lot of power.

Is it revving up before dying or do the rpms just go too low?

I think blinking on the receiver means it's not bind correctly.
