Little to NO brakes... Help....

I cruised through my break-in, and first bashing without any major issue, and a heck of a good time to boot. Now I have little to no brakes at all, if I push it on the ground (electrics on / engine not running) I can get it to stop, but very weak. When its on and moving there is next to no stopping it at all. I partially tightened the top set screw (not more than a turn) for the pad adjustments and cant reach the bottom set screw. Any ideas would be much appreciated, its holding us back from driving it.

Adjusted the linkage, and got rid of the damn spring for a fuel tube. It works like a charm for about 10min and then the brakes are right back to sloppy if any. Suggestions anyone??

You know you can adjust the spacing of the brake pads. There are two set screws on the side. Keep the pads close and your servo won't have to work as hard. Is your servo getting all the power it needs? does the servo get hot?LMK

I was trying to avoid doing the set/grub screws, going to try a new collar on it first, then the screws if it fails. ILUK

There are 2 things you need to look at. Is the servo strong enough? and Have the grub screws between the receiver box and the center diff backed out?
the grub screws are for the brake adjustment. I had mine tighten up and lock the breaks on me as i was completing the break in period. tight spot to get to. i pulled my receiver box with the servo attached to make room to access the grub screws. be careful to not move the steering position otherwise your servos will fight each other and most likely burn out.
