Well after spending several hours today trying to start my stock 32cc fuelie I have come to the conclusion that it is a compression issue, I would assume with a reading of only 70 psi. I then added a small amount of 927 2 stroke oil to the cylinder and retested at 120 psi. So I am assuming the rings are done. I really don't have anymore big money to put into this model. I am thinking of getting the Zenoah g320. If anybody can give an opinion which engine would be best for the least amount of money it would be greatly appreciated. I don't need a 9 something horsepower obr engine for what i do with it, but would like to increase the power if I am going through the trouble to do the swop.. TIA

I have been debating on rebuilding the stock 32cc but what is really stopping me is how in 6 months of use the original failed so i would assume the rebuild won't be much better. I am now considering an OBR engine but which one is best fitted to the MT? I really don't know what else needs upgraded. Is it necessary to change to a turtle racing type clutch? Or will the stock set up handle 7 to 9+ horsepower? I can't imagine the stock setup can handle the power but I may be wrong. I have been reading older posts on this similar subject, but I am sure the engine choices have changed since then. Any ideas guys?

Bigger HP means more drive line probs

I'd go with a stock G320 and good pipe myself

Thanks for your opinion Phill. I was thinking the same thing about the drive line problems. I have already been down that road.

I orederd a g320 engine. This engine comes with a 5k clutch. I put a 8k on the original and loved it. Seller says there is enough torque for the 5k to work well. Any opinions on this will he appreciated

I find the lower RPM clutch much more controllable exiting corners.

The 8k is great for take off but not practical on the track

I get what you are saying 8k on the track. There are no local tracks for 5th. So we make due with bash spots ramps etc. I'm going to try out the lower rpm spring. Can always change it out if needed.

What do you think of the copper exhaust gaskets? I have had issues burning through the ones that came with the DDM Dominator

I haven't tried em

I use the graphite coated ones and they seem OK

You can get em at your local chain saw shop

That g320 was the correct choice Phill. I got all the parts swopped over, new super bee installed in the MT Thursday night, finished Friday night. Did the break in Saturday. Finished up the break in Sunday. I got it out today after work and I am hands down impressed. I used the stock 6k clutch 990 carb and my old dominator pipe. I really havn't gotten wot yet but have in short bursts got into the gas a pretty good. It is very impressive now for sure.

It's very hard to find parts to build up the drive train. But im sure with some fab work it can be done. The cva shafts would be my first.

How much did the G320 cost?

Was it a easy swap from one engine to the other?
